Cosmo is the next new brawler in Brawl Stars: a Mythic robot scientist who hosts the Starr Park Observatory and starts the new Planetarium Trio, arriving in September alongside the update that opens Season 54. He releases through the New Brawler Event as early access, so the unlock is a guaranteed grind rather than a lucky pull: open 14 Cosmo Boxes and he is yours. The update is live as of September 1; his full kit and, as battles come in, his real numbers live on his brawler page, while this article covers the release and the unlock.

Who is Cosmo

Cosmo is a robot scientist and the host of the Starr Park Observatory, and he starts a brand new trio, the Planetarium Trio. He is a Mythic, the same rarity as Wendy and Damian before him, and the September half of a double release: Vince, the second new Mythic, follows in October.

His kit

Live in the official game data: his attack, Super, both star powers (Precession and Ammo Attractor) and both gadgets (Planetary Pushback and Telescope Trap), all listed with their full text on Cosmo’s brawler page, where his win rate, best build and counters fill in from our own battle tracking as players queue him. The stats intent stays on that page on purpose; this article covers the release and the unlock.

When he releases

September, through the New Brawler Event as early access. The update itself landed September 1, and Cosmo’s exact event start is not announced yet. Everything else in the update is in the full September roundup.

How to unlock him

The New Brawler Event is the guaranteed path: play with the free Tickets the event hands out, win matches to earn Cosmo Boxes, and opening 14 Cosmo Boxes unlocks him outright, the standard threshold for a Mythic. The full ticket-and-box system, and why 14 is the Mythic number, is covered in our New Brawler Event guide.

Is he worth it

Nobody can answer that yet, us included: the kit is out, the data is not in. What we can promise is the day-one tracking. Our battle pipeline counts real matches, so Cosmo’s brawler page starts filling with his win rate, best build and counters as soon as players queue him. Until then the unlock math stands on its own: 14 boxes for a Mythic costs Tickets and wins, not Gems.
